Our Technician David

This is one of our Service Technicians David onsite at one of Brisbane’s biggest metropolitan hospitals. David is part of our experienced tech team and has been with ActivTec for seven years.

These photos were taken of him in the hospital’s workshop performing repairs on a medical bed to ensure that the hospital’s patients receive the best care possible.

As part of David’s repair process he is checking the internal electronics and performing a battery test to check the functionality of the bed. His role is to make sure the bed is fully compliant so that it best serves the patient.

As with all of our 100+ technicians David is trained to repair and maintain an array of medical and mobility equipment including patient hoists, wheelchairs, macerators, shower equipment and bio-medical technology just to name a few.
